A "Chocolate for Charity" event, the Lititz Chocolate Walk brings together some of the region's most talented chefs and candy makers for a fun and unique way of raising money for local community services focusing on the needs of young people.
Walkers each with a button & punchcard in hand, follow their maps through historic downtown Lititz where chocolate treats are given out at each of about 30 retail locations in downtown Lititz.
Some patrons refer to it as "trick or treat for grownups" while others just enjoy the chance to sample chocolate goodies and enjoy the ambience of our lovely community.
Whatever the pleasure, the Lititz Chocolate Walk has attracted more than 15,000 chocolate lovers to Lititz since its inception in 2001.
Proceeds from the Chocolate Walk are distributed to local organizations that assist children such as Schreiber Pediatric, Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, Lititz Public Library, Manheim Township Public Library, as well as other local groups providing youth oriented services.
